REVEALED:
HIMALAYAN SHERPA'S' "SECRET PREPARATION"
THAT ALLOWS YOU TO FULLY ENJOY A RELAXING RETREAT IN NATURE...

... While Releasing You From The Stress Of Hiking Preparation
By Your Next Hike!

Redbull: "The Best Preparation When Mounting The World's Highest Peak."

Dear Fellow Hiker,

Look at this.

hikerprep sherpa carrying ladder

The Sherpa's going up Mount Everest. And he's carrying over 100 pounds of weight on his back.

It’s for a group of hikers. And he’s leading up them up the beaten path. A path that has taken so many lives.

But what you don’t see are the other hikers. Where are they?

They’re nowhere to be found.

They actually dropped out, felt disappointed, because they weren’t cut out for the climb.

A disappointed hiker who dropped out...

But the Sherpa keeps on going. The Sherpa has to trek on. The Sherpa doesn’t stop.

Why?

Because of the Himalayan Sherpas secret preparation that allows them to enjoy a relaxing retreat in nature.

In fact, this secret preparation helped build his physical strength to climb Mount Everest. And it started 30 years ago when “nobody listened” to them.

Stick with me, and I’ll show you what it is… and the exact science that makes it such a powerful planner.

But first, as you probably know... hikers drop out of their hikes.

Do you know the main reason why?

Perhaps you’re thinking it’s getting lost and not able to find their way back? Yep.

Or perhaps hikers didn’t bring the right amount of food, water, and gear? Yes as well.

Or perhaps hikers have a bad attitude or unrealistic expectations? And yes again.

But above all, research shows the single biggest reason is having unforeseen body injuries. And these injuries came out of nowhere during a hike.

Take a look at the top unforeseen reasons why hikers dropped out. What do you notice?

small injuries

Over 50% of the hikers dropped out because of unforeseen foot pain, foot blisters, knee pain or muscle soreness.

That’s a staggering high percentage!

I highlight this because just preventing foot pain, foot blisters, knee pain and muscle soreness could keep you from finishing your hike over 50% of the time.

But the worst part is, these unforeseen injuries are silent creepers. They don’t just happen as a result of one hike. They creep up on you hike after hike. And you can’t even notice it until you hike the trails again.

In fact, your feet, knees, and muscles could give out at any time during your hike. One moment you’re feeling good, the next, they’re wobbly. And then the next moment, you’re flat out on the ground and disappointed with yourself.

That’s why it’s imperative to keep your feet, knees, and muscles healthy.

And to remove any excess weight on them.

So what adds excess weight to our feet, knees, and muscles and how do we remove it?

If you recall the Sherpa picture above, you’d see it staring right at you. Can you think of what it was?

If you guessed your backpack weight, or the weight on your back, you’d be correct!

When the backpack is too heavy, it could spell disaster and despair which leads to disappointment.

The heavy pack stresses your feet, knees, and muscles. Not only that but it can keep you off balance and cause unwanted anxiety and muscle tension.

So you might be asking next...

What considered too heavy?

A study at the TheTrek.co conducted research of hikers who completed the Appalachian Trail.

Take a look at the table below:

backpack weight

They noticed something peculiar when it came to the weight of the pack.

Look at the first row labeled "Base weight". You can see that all hikers' weight was approximately 21 pounds. The ones who completed their hikes, they carried 20 pounds.

But what about the ones the ones that dropped out?

They carried 23 pounds.

It’s disappointing to see any hiker drop out for any reason. Yet, it’s even more disappointing to see how an additional 3 pounds was the difference between completing and dropping out.

Why take the risk when you don’t have to?

hikerprep backache

You too might be at risk of dropping out with an overweight pack

Which is why the “secret preparation” of the Himalayan Sherpas is so exciting.

To us, a 20-pound pack might not be very heavy. And to a Sherpa who’s carrying 100 pounds on their backs, well, 20 pounds seems trivial.

So how does the Sherpa carry so much weight up Mount Everest without dropping out?

And it couldn’t be found more in the brain: their state of mind.

One Sherpa even affirmed that “mental is the most important.”

Their state of mind is known to be one of the strongest mindsets in the world.

Now you might be thinking the secret is mental concentration. And you’re very close!

But it’s not quite the mental concentration.

Here’s a little more background on how this came about:

A group of Himalayan Sherpas was interviewed as part of Master’s student's research thesis.

They wanted to find out what was the number one mental strategy of elite Sherpas. What goes on in their hiker brain?

They set out for weeks asking Sherpas what made them so successful in climbing Mount Everest.

And to their surprise, it’s was a tiny but significant approach.

Hikerprep mindset hiker brain

Let the Sherpas explain further:

“You need to try first, small, first, like eh, less I want to do this… let’s say 4000 meters this time, when you done this you say, oh I got this, nothing really difficult, I want to try… the 6000m”.”

To summarize, the one thing you need are “tiny steps”.

That’s the secret how Sherpas prepare for Mount Everest. They train by start with 4,000 meters, then do 6,000 meters, then 10,000 meters.

And that’s how they prepare their packs. They start with a tiny pack of 20 pounds, then 30 pounds, then 50 pounds and eventually 100 pounds.

It’s no wonder they are eventually able to carry 100 pounds and summit Mount Everest.

In the same way, it’s the “tiny steps” that we must take when we prepare for our hikes.

When we want a stronger mindset to hike, we need to start assessing our attitude and having the right hiking expectations on shorter trails. Once we are comfortable, we can have a growth mindset and the right expectations on longer trails.

Is your mindset wrong from the get-go?
Most hikers want a hiking experience that’s enjoyed and appreciated first and foremost. However, it’s hard when you don’t have the right mindset days before hiking. It’s not ideal to focus on speed and miles without doing any exercise regiments such as a trail run before the day hike. Having “hiker brain” unrealistic expectations on where to hike, how far and fast to hike, and how long the hike to can cause more stress. And when you’re stressed, you may lack the motivation and time to hike.

You may lack the motivation and time
No matter how much hiking hikers do, it’s bound to become a drag at some point. The trails seem to be all the same and it ends up being boring. Yet, our “hiker brain” tells us to keep doing the same hike over and over again. So how do we find motivation and time to continue? It’s through noticing the little things on the trail, but mainly it’s having a right attitude and staying focused.

Do you hike with an unfocused, lousy attitude?
Many hikers start off with a bad attitude, a hallmark of the “hiker brain”. They may get to the trail late, be stuck behind other people, or even forget to bring gear or enough water. Either way, they let it affect their attitude and focus, and ultimately sacrifice their hike.

The solution to reducing stress and unpleasant hiking lies preparing your mindset well in advance.

When we plan our hikes, we start of not knowing what to expect on our hikes. That makes us feel disappointed the hike that's too difficult for our abilities. We need to start planning well with short trails, understanding the environment, learning to navigate our map and compass, and evaluating the terrain.

Only when comfortable, we can take the next tiny step forward and tackle harder hikes. Only by doing so, our planning skills will improve for longer hikes. And preparing becomes second nature, like breathing.

When we pack for our hikes, we need to start packing for short trails by knowing how much water, food, and gear to pack. By packing too little, we risk of being dehydrated and without proper nutrition. What you need is a guide, a system of tiny steps, that you can practice over and over again. By doing so, you’ll know how to pack for longer trails.

When we’re building fitness to hike, we need to start off with a 3-mile hike, then 5-mile hike, then 7-mile hike, then finally tackle the 10-mile hike. By doing so, our fitness levels will increase

There are so many applications of the tiny steps method that will prepare you to be a better hiker.

You will be a hiker that won’t drop out because of 3 pounds of weight. You'll know exactly how much water to pack, how much food to bring, and what emergency gear to carry. You'll know what to do when the weather changes and what to do when you're injured.

You will be a hiker that won’t be injured from foot pain, blisters, knee pain and muscle soreness.

You will be a hiker who won’t be disappointed after their hike.

You will be a hiker who will have the internal strength and hiking interest of a Sherpa.

Which is why applying the “tiny steps” is so exciting.

There's a resource that uses the "tiny steps" Sherpa method and makes hiking preparation simple.

The more you use it, the more you'll feel empowered as you go on your hike.

Just like the Sherpa carrying the ladders up Mount Everest.

hikerprep solution knowing what to pack

The "guessing" factor

HikerPrep a system for a beginner, intermediate and advanced hikers who want to improve your hiking preparation skills continually.

It shows you how to prepare for a hike and speeds up the process, without being overly general.

Being Specific Is Necessary

That’s because you need to know precisely how to best prepare for your particular hike. It’s not a broad checklist or template you can copy. Instead, it’s sound principles that you can take onto any hike.

However, principles in itself are not enough. Instead, included with the principles is a step-by-step method for best implementing it. Moreover, this method It takes away the “guessing” factor out of preparing your future hikes.

What is the “guessing” factor exactly?

On any given hike, you might bump into a fellow hiker. You might tell them your process of preparing for a hike and ask whether they thought you prepared adequately. You’d get their opinion, but it would vary from hiker to hiker. This variation leaves you confused.

You’re not 100% sure what is working and what isn’t. And you suspect you could vastly improve the results only if you had a clear set of benchmarks and guidelines.

A sneak peak of what's in HIkerprep

Hiker Brain is one aspect that HikerPrep deals with in many forms. After interviewing 260 hikers, they told us a lot more problems they had with hiking preparation. If you had a problem, odds we heard about it. That's why we created HikerPrep to be a complete simple guide to hiking preparation.

hikerprep prepare mindset

How to Prepare your mindset before your hike
Most hikers grab their gear an hour before hiking and hit the trails. Then something goes wrong, it’s too hot or cold, or they’re too tired, and they’re not mentally prepared to deal with it. Is there a way to prepare your mindset in advance for this? With HikerPrep, we’ll show you how and what to do to lead up to your stress-free and pleasant hike.

hikerprep attitude

How to Find motivation, attitude and time to hike
No matter how much hiking hikers do, they often find it to be a drag at some point. Life gets busy after skipping a few weeks of hiking, and suddenly they find themselves feeling less like hitting a trail and more like sitting on a coach. So how can you get back into the routine? We’ll show you three ways in HikerPrep to get your motivation back and keep it from slipping again.

hikerprep pack to bring

There are 4Ps of hiking that will help get you to a specific level during your hike so you can find your sanity and peace of mind.

What hikers Are Saying About HIkerprep

Terrance B.

The biggest benefit was discovering what I needed to do quickly prepare for any hike and spend more time on the trails.

I tried it and it worked. Without your help it would have taken me a long time to realize both the importance of hiking preparation, fitness and mindset. I was stopped in my tracks with the fitness part because that's what I was interested in the most.

I just started hiking again this year and frankly was struggling with the whole hiking preparation part. The information was very insightful and in fact helped me see that my fitness can be improved in three ways not one (among others)!

My fitness level was not what was it was and the information helped me to see how to improve my fitness before my hike. The exercises I came up with are now being used on all my hikes, all because of your book Hikerprep!

While reading and figuring out my exercises, my enthusiasm just blossomed. It also taught me how to set expectations and have the right mindset before hiking. I knew it on a gut level but when I compare to other hikers, I could very clearly see how my mindset just really stands out.

I would highly recommend this e-book because it makes you hike in a totally new and helpful way.

Billy and Fanny N.

The feature I enjoyed most was how to calculate trail difficulty

I have a very high trail completion rate when it comes to hiking, but I'm interested in tackling harder trails over the next year, rather substantially.

I purchased HikerPrep as I was certain that it would provide useful info about how to actually go about doing that without experiencing excessive body aches, stamina, and mindset frustrations.

HikerPrep confirmed some practices I was already using — showing me why it was working and how to make it work even better. It also gave me an easy to use checklist for preparing for any hike that I choose to do at any time of the day. I feel confident now when I go for my hikes.

Many hikers I know have all sorts of issues on the trails — this should take away some of those issues if not all of them.

There's basically no good reason not to buy HikerPrep. It's hands down the best $30 I've spent this year.

HikerPrep was designed with hikers in mind. Over 260 real hiker interviews were conducted to understand their real challenges. The outcome of the discussions produced numerous word-of-mouth tips that we have compiled into this book. It’s designed to be comprehensive, easy-to-read and helping hikers prepare in an orderly and systematic way. You won’t experience hiking preparation the same again.

  1. This is not a hiking safety book. While this book does speak to packing for emergencies, it is not a hiking safety intensive book. We have another book that does touch extensively on hiking safety.

  2. This is not a book that is in paper format. It is delivered via email in a PDF format. Yes, it can be printed out and read on paper, but our method of delivery is still electronic.

  3. This book is not technology based. While we do suggest digital apps to download and other software to make your hike easier, we do not extensively go into details. We will not cover how to use the app or software.

Premium Bonus #1: 30-60-120 Fitness Calendar and Planner worth $27

A few years ago, my body was aching during and after my day hikes. This aching period only got longer as I continued to age. Then, I discovered a few exercises that helped me recover faster.

I took note of this and created the 30-60-120 fitness calendar for maintaining my body when I'm not on the trails. It helped me minimize the aches and sores after hiking. And now I can go on multi-day hikes.

We recently had this professionally designed and laid out. And when you order the premium package, you'll receive the 30-60-120 calendar and planner with your order.

By the way, I've had numerous people tell me this calendar and planner alone was worth the cost of their book (once it was set in motion).

Premium Bonus #2: Day Hiking Preparation Checklists worth $15

When I was first getting started with hiking, I created a simple quick-reference checklist to help me remember what to pack for each and every hike. And not too long ago, people started asking me for a similar checklist for their hikes.

So I went through my old notes, dug up that original worn-out, hand-written checklist, added a few more critical points and had it done up professionally.

Now it's one of my most sought-after resources - and because it's so near and dear to my heart, I only make it available from time to time.

So until I decide to take it down again (which could be tomorrow or next month, I haven't decided yet), you'll receive a copy of it included when you order the book today with the premium package!
